Fundraiser Day – Family Fun

What’s there on the day?

On the day we’ll have a range of fun activities for all the family.
activities will be on a ‘pay as you’ go’ basis where you pay per activity, some activities will be fixed cost and some will be on a donation basis.

Some activities will have a leaderboard so your details will be collected from you so we can get in touch if you are the winner.
Prizes will be available for winners of these activities, winners will be announced on the day. If the winners are not present at the time of announcement then we will contact you after the event so that the prize can be claimed.

142" Giant Gaming Screens

2x Giant 3m x 2m (142") LED video screens - compete for a chance to get your name at the top of the leaderboard and win a prize!

Bouncy Castle

A giant kids bouncy castle, let your children jump on and have a bounce for a set time!

Ducks

As many of you know, Deb loves a duck! - The day will be filled with duck themed things!

Photo opportunity with Barbie

Barbie is coming to visit between 12pm and 1pm, your little ones get a chance for photo opportunity!

Entertainment

Live vocal entertainment from a local legend - Nicholas Albert

Plants & Homemade Gifts

Take away a new house plant and/or handmade gifts and gift packs

Design A Duck

Draw your duck design for your chance for it to be featured on Deb's clothing that she'll be running in on Marathon day!

Free entry

Entry to the family fun day is completely free, all stalls and attractions will be on a pay as you go basis, some with fixed costs and some on a donation basis

Leaderboards

Some attractions will feature some competitive fun with leaderboards!The person at the top of the leaderboards will win a prize!

Tea, Coffee & Juice

Tea, coffee and flavoured squash will be available throughout the day on a donation basis, throw some change into the pot in exchange for your choice of beverage

Raffle

We've had some amazing prizes donated to us by individuals and local businesses, the raffle will be drawn at the end of the day.

Classic Stalls & Games

There will be a range of classic 'fair' style games including on a pay-per-play basis with prizes to be won!

The Quiz

Test your knowledge and support a great cause!We're running a fun-filled quiz to raise vital funds for Deb as she takes on the incredible challenge of the London Marathon for Young Lives vs Cancer.Every penny raised will help this amazing charity support young people and their families facing cancer.So, gather your team, brush up on your trivia, and join us for an evening of brainpower and fundraising – all to help Deb reach her marathon goal and make a real difference to young lives.

Cost

Entry is £5 per person payable in advance via cash or online via Deb's fundraising page.Details for both are below (step 2 labelled 'payment')Each table seats 1 team of up to 8 people, multiple tables are available but they will be split into multiple teams.

Timings & General Information

Doors will be open from 6pm with the quiz aiming to start around 7pm.The quiz will feature 8 rounds of 10 questions, there will be a break between round 4 and 5, during the break you'll have the opportunity to take a comfort break, re-fill your drinks and also participate in some of our fun 'half-time games'! (Make sure to bring some extra cash on the day!)The quiz will feature special 'themed' rounds, so make sure to brush up on your general knowledge!Please be aware that this is an adults only event - Ages 16+

Food & Drink

Lordswood Leisure Centre have a bar that will be open throughout the duration of the event, the bar can be paid on order via cash or card. Please be aware that you cannot bring your own drink with you.You are welcome to bring your own nibbles for your table, we will not be providing any food on the night.
